What is Bandwidth?

Each time someone views or downloads a file from your web site then your bandwidth use increases by the size of that file. The file may be a web page, an image, a video clip etc. Most web sites only use a few megabytes of bandwidth per month. Each of our hosting packages comes with a huge amount of bandwidth per month! Because of this 99.9% of our customers never exceed these extremely generous allowances. However if you do need additional bandwidth it is available at modest cost (please see our 'Prices' page for details).
